All throughout Ramadhan, we will be serving authentic signature traditional dishes, recipes being passed down by Harith Iskander’s grandma herself where our kitchen staff are led by Kak Limah, Harith’s aunty from Johor.

The café’s intimate and cosy setting is the best place to share the joy of family time together with a satisfying experience of breaking fast. An authentic culinary journey awaits with a variety of authentic kampung dishes and not forgetting our lok-lok served with variety of special sauces and chee cheong fun. We’ve put together a group of comics who can find the funny in our frustrations and turn your maddening modern life into pure comedy!

Featuring Brian Tan, Phoon Chi Ho, Rayza Mukmin, Sim Tong, and hosted by Prakash Daniel, this show is gonna be loud and yelly so bring all your friends!

DANNY O’BRIEN (31 MAY & 1 JUNE)

All the way from Dublin, Ireland.. it’s Danny O’Brien at The Joke Factory! Danny has been performing stand-up comedy for the best part of a decade, headlining regularly at top comedy clubs and festivals to worldwide audiences. As the resident host and owner of The Comedy Crunch in Dublin one of Ireland’s most successful comedy clubs – his friendly, high energy and anecdotal style draws in an audience and brings on the big laughs with ease!

Following in the footsteps of Simon Pegg, Dylan Moran and Dara Ó Briain – Danny was handpicked in 2016 to perform as part of the iconic “Best of The Edinburgh Fest” Show across Australia touring Perth World Fringe, Adelaide Fringe Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival and returned again in 2018. After a sell out month long run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe last year and a tour of South East Asia, Danny followed these with a national and international tour with over thirty dates in six countries with his hugely successful ‘RaconTour’. O’ Brien’s new show ‘Lock-In’ will see him performing in several prisons across Ireland and the UK in the coming months and will debut at The Edinburgh Fringe this August.

KEELAH ROSE CALLOWAY (7 & 8 JUNE)

All the way from southen California, it’s Keelah Rose Calloway! Her comedy chops were honed in the improv world as a member of the Whistling Shrimp improv troupe at Cornell University, and she has been trying her hand at stand-up comedy for three and half years now. She has performed stand-up comedy in Wrocław, Warsaw, Krakow, Berlin, Hamburg, Prague, London, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur and she will soon be gracing stages all over Southeast Asia with The Joke Factory being one of her stops!

She has also appeared on the acclaimed English radio program Sunday Lunch in Wrocław, starred in a Wroclogs tourism commercial, appeared as the featured guest on the ninth episode of the first season of ATM’s hit TV show “Five O’Clark” and had and article on Wrocław’s stand-up comedy scene published in Wroclife Magazine.

Featuring local favourites Sim Tong, Nizam Jentik-Jentik, Phoon Chi Ho, and Netflix’s very own Kavin Jay! Come and bring your dad along!

CIARAN LYONS (21 & 22 JUNE)

Ciaran Lyons is verifiably one of Australia’s fastest-rising stand-up comedy stars and media personalities.
Since being awarded the Artists’ Choice award at the Wild West Comedy Fest in 2015 and Next Gen Comedian by the Perth Comedy Festival at just sixteen years of age, Ciaran has been nominated for Best Comedy at FRINGE WORLD, hand-picked by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for their prestigious Comedy Zone showcase of the hottest new comics in Australia and was honoured alongside Tame Impala, Troye Sivan and Danny Green by The Sunday Times as one of WA’s Hottest 100 People of 2016.
His TV and radio credits include regular guest reporting for Channel Ten’s The Project, stand-up performances on ABC TV’s Comedy Bites *Gala, triple j’*s Good Az Friday live show (broadcast from Melbourne Town Hall for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival). He regularly presents on national youth station triple j, where he has been heard solo hosting every show from the early morning shift to the Breakfast Show and Drive.
Now based in Sydney, Lyons is a regular at all the major comedy venues and festivals across Australia and is a firm fixture in Australia’s stand-up comedy and media landscape.

Look! Phoon Chi Ho is headlining The Joke Factory!
One of the pioneers of Kuala Lumpur’s underground comedy scene, he is best known for being one part of Douglas Lim’s Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians, and has shared the stage with comedy greats like Dara O’ Briain, Ed Byrne, Harith Iskander and Afdlin Shauki, just to name a few.
On TV, he has appeared on Astro Warna’s Cakap Melayu Lah, Komediri (2 seasons) and was one of the first Asian comedians to be curated for Comedy Central Asia’s Stand Up, Asia! Soon, he’ll be on Astro’s Sedapnya Mulut! On the silver screen, he begged 
a supporting role, playing a ghost hunter, on Mamat Khalid’s Lari Hantu… Lari! Come and join us for a night of hilarity with the one and only Phoon Chi Ho!
